Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 5, 2026
Trip Global is operated by Novara LLC ("we", "us"), which is the controller of your personal information, at 8401 Mayland Dr Ste A, Richmond, Henrico County, VA 23294 US. This policy explains what we collect when you use tripglobal.ai, why, and the choices you have, wherever you live.
In short: we only collect what we need to plan and deliver your trip. We never sell your information, we don't use advertising or tracking cookies, and we only send occasional trip reminders and travel ideas, which you can stop in one click.
1. Information we collect
- Email address (required). We use it to send your itinerary, your PDF, your private link to view and change your trip. We can't deliver an itinerary without it.
- Trip details you enter, such as destinations, dates, where you're travelling from (optional), who is travelling, pace, transport, interests and any notes or change requests. Please don't include sensitive information (for example health details) in notes.
- Our email list. When you plan a free trip, your email is added to our list for occasional trip reminders and travel ideas, with the date and the notice you were shown. If you unsubscribe, we keep your address only on a do-not-email list.
- Technical information, such as IP address, browser type and request logs, used to keep the service secure, prevent abuse and fix problems.
2. How we use it, and our legal bases
- To create, deliver and store your trip, and to send messages about your trip. Legal basis: performing our contract with you.
- To send occasional trip reminders, travel ideas and suggestions to people who planned a trip with us. You can unsubscribe in one click from any email, or by writing to us. We never sell your email or share it with advertisers. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in keeping in touch with people who use our free service (in the EU and UK, the rules that let a service email its own users about similar things, with an easy way to say no every time). You can object at any time, and we'll stop.
- To keep the service secure, stop bots and abuse, and limit free previews. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a safe, fair service.
- To improve trip quality using aggregated, non-identifying statistics. Legal basis: legitimate interest.
Itineraries are written automatically by software, including AI language models, using the trip details you provide. This does not make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about you. Your email address is never sent to the AI service.
3. Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers that help us run Trip Global, under contracts that limit how they can use it: hosting and database, email delivery, AI text generation (trip details only), maps and place information, and bot protection. They act on our instructions and may not use your information for their own purposes.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business transfer such as a merger. We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
4. Your trip link and sharing
- Each trip has a private web address that isn't listed in search engines. Anyone you give the link to can view the trip, but not change it; changes need the personal link from your confirmation email.
- A trip shows places, dates and travel plans but not your email. Only share it with people you're happy to see it. When you share it in messaging apps, they may show a preview with the trip's title and a photo.
- "Add to calendar" downloads a calendar file to your own device. We don't connect to or read your calendar.
5. Storage on your device, cookies and analytics
- We store a small key in your browser so you can change the trip you planned, and, when you open a trip, a copy of the page, its photos and map areas so it works offline. This is strictly necessary for features you use, stays on your device, and isn't used to track you. You can remove it at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings.
- We don't use advertising cookies, tracking pixels or session recording, and we don't record your screen, mouse movements or keystrokes. We count page visits with privacy-friendly analytics that don't use cookies or identify you.
- To show your trip, your browser loads map tiles and some photos from map and photo providers, and a bot check may run when you submit the form. Like any website, these services receive your IP address and basic browser information when your browser loads their content. Place details, Google photos and unusual destination searches are fetched by our servers, so Google receives the place or search text but not your IP address.
- Some links to hotels, tours, transfers, flights, rental cars and eSIMs are affiliate links. Our pages don't load any affiliate scripts or cookies. If you click one, you go to that partner's site, where it may set its own cookies to credit us with a commission under its own privacy policy. A booking link carries only what the search needs (a place, dates or airport codes), never your email or the rest of your trip. Once you leave for a partner's site, what you enter and pay there is handled by that company under its own privacy policy; we never see your payment or booking details.
6. How long we keep it
Trips and trip details are kept for up to 90 days after creation and then deleted automatically, along with your email address. Your place on our email list is kept separately from your trip until you unsubscribe; after that we keep only your address on a do-not-email list, so we never email you by mistake. Security logs are kept for a short period. Copies on your own device (the offline copy, the PDF and any calendar file) stay until you delete them.
7. Security
We use encrypted connections, restricted server-side access to our database, and reasonable technical and organisational safeguards. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affects your information, we will notify you and the authorities where the law requires.
8. Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to access, correct, delete or send you a copy of your personal information, and to stop or limit certain processing. You can stop trip reminders and travel ideas at any time, in one click from any email. Depending on your location, specific laws give you these rights, including:
- EU, EEA and UK (GDPR and UK GDPR): access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection to processing based on legitimate interests, and the right to complain to your data protection authority.
- California and other US states: the right to know, delete and correct, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we don't sell or share it). We will not discriminate against you for using these rights.
- Brazil (LGPD), Canada (PIPEDA), Australia (Privacy Act), India (DPDP Act) and similar laws: the equivalent rights of access, correction, deletion and complaint under those laws.
To make a request, email info@tripglobal.ai, ideally from the address you used to book so we can verify it's you. You can use an authorised agent where the law allows. We reply within one month (45 days in California), and it's free.
9. International transfers
We are based in the United States, and our providers may process information in the US and other countries. When we transfer personal information from the EU, EEA, UK or other regions with transfer rules, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK addendum, or an adequacy decision.
10. Children
Trip Global is not intended for children. You must be 18 or older to buy a trip, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service or the law changes. The date at the top shows the latest version, and we'll highlight significant changes on this page.
